As someone who lived a lot of my life in my head rather than connected to my body, I was often mystified by symptoms that seemed to pop out of nowhere.

There seemed to be a disconnect between my mind and my body.

My mind said I was fine, I was strong and things were good. But my body would tell a different story. It would toss and turn at night, rebel against food, refuse to sit still, or feel exhausted for stretches on end.

Many well-intentioned doctors gave their two cents - uppers for ADHD, downers for sleep, one drug to increase appetite, another to deal with nausea. Different doctors for different diagnoses, each prescribing different pills for different conditions.

It took a while to realize the piece-meal approach wasn't going to work.

That True wellness comes from looking at the whole picture, not dealing with parts.

By combining integrative assessments with naturopathic treatment, I address both the symptoms and the underlying cause of ill-health. Going beyond a one-size-fits-all model, the goal is never "dealing with" but "moving past."

Thriving, Not Surviving.

I went on to pursue a career in integrative mental health, completing post-graduate work in Psychotherapy and Naturopathic Medicine, and am registered with both the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
